My wildlife photography learning journey
In August 2018 I started to take photos of birds. I’ll share my learning progress, with tips and examples, in my Photography blog.
As well as photos from the field, I regularly visit Rutland Water nature reserve. I find even little brown jobs make good subjects! As well as publishing my favourite shots, I’ll share some failures, what I think went wrong and how to get better.

The first sign of Spring in Rutland is the arrival of the Rutland ospreys, back from Africa to breed. Maya was first this year (she usually is). The ospreys can be best seen on their nests from the Lyndon reserve, and you may be lucky enough to spot one...
