If you have read my latest Field blog, you’ll know that the theme for May has been hunger. Birds are feeding like demons, desperately trying to keep up with the demands of their little ones.
A few very warm days and a dry period meant I spent a lot of time filling water bowls. I look forward to the ponds being full so the birds can help themselves!
I hope you enjoy this little selection of bird photos from the field in May.
