Description
Rutland Garden Bird Series 1 – Chaffinch
Limited edition of 25 hand signed and numbered prints of each bird painting.
The Rutland Garden Bird Series is a collection of paintings of British wild birds that I have photographed in my Rutland village garden over the last few months. The series comprises four prints; blue tit, goldfinch, chaffinch and robin. The prints are available individually or as a set; a discount is available if you buy a set of all four prints.
These prints are exceptionally high quality, printed on textured giclee paper by a fine Art Trade Guild accredited printer. All materials used are environmentally friendly.
The paper is Bockingford Watercolour Giclee, a beautiful English textured watercolour paper made in Somerset. This is a high quality acid free paper made to archival standards and has an attractive surface that is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture.
Each print comes with a 12″ by 10″ mount; soft white with the blue tit, robin and chaffinch and black with the goldfinch. I haven’t included a frame, as the art will suit a wide range of frame designs and I feel choosing a frame is a very personal experience.
Each print is accompanied by a certificate of authentication.
